“I find that the environment on the set is collectively probably the hardest that I’ve ever seen people have to work” said Sarah Polley who completed her filming on Beowulf & Grendel last week. “The only thing I can honestly compare it to is The Adventures of Baron Munchausen when I was eight, and that was, I think, three times harder than this, but nothing has come close till this in terms of sheer demented ambition”.
